Skateboarding 101
Hi beginner skaters and welcome to Skateboarding 101 with your host: the internet (jk, jk) no really I am your host! To skate, you must learn which way you ride: regular or goofy. There is nothing goofy about riding goofy-footed. (Goofy a.k.a. lefty.) I ride regular and my brother rides goofy so you will see pictures of both. (You should try both and master your dominant side the practice the other so you can do other tricks.) Then learn to turn. There are two ways to turn. You can lean to turn or you can pick your back wheels up and thrust your body in the direction you wish to turn to. If you learn to stand on your back two wheels soon you won’t have to touch the ground and you will be doing the manual.
OLLIE:
Regular Footed:
1.) Put you right foot on the back curb of your board
2.) Put your left foot in the MIDDLE of the board.
3.)Step on the back curb with your right foot. It should spring up.
4.) Position your left foot in a turned sideways position and either slide or hold that foot.
5.) Land on the front of your board and come down with the back.
6.) Good job! YOU just did the ollie.
Goofy Footed:
1.) Put you right left foot on the back curb of your board

I want to learn how!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really do my brother has a skateboard but we don’t use it but i want to learn how at least!

lol im a skater i skate world industries now (I KNOW NOT THE BEST COMPANY) but atleast pat duffy is on that team so i thought what the heck and spent 30 bucks on a deck (it was a sale on boards at A1 skateshop website) anyways awesome site man!

I’m regular footed because i’m right-handed, I really don’t know which hand is my hand-handed. I write with my left hand and I ride with my right foot. Any ideas of which hand i’m used to?
Ty’s Comment: You should use whatever you like better. If you can do more tricks on one, stick with that one! Have fun!

i have a big problem i ride goofy but ollie regular all the tests say i am regular i wrote this with my psp someone help!
